The customer books your service

The request reaches you via Mizuu. You confirm, dates are chosen and the booking is finalised.

The customer pays Mizuu

Payment via Stripe. We automatically keep a 15% commission. Of Mizuu's net profit, 15% goes to the shelter solidarity fund.

You perform the service

Check-in with a 6-digit OTP when you receive the pet. Check-out with OTP when you return it. Everything traced.

You get paid after 7 days

After check-out, if there is no complaint, the money moves to your available wallet balance and we pay you what you're owed. You'll see your earnings in your dashboard.

Automatic payments pending Stripe Connect. Until it is activated we operate in manual mode: bookings are confirmed after the customer's bank transfer. The rest of the flow (wallet, dispute window, OTP) already works.

15% of our net profit goes to the shelter pool

These are two different things: your commission is 15% of each booking, and what Mizuu earns from it is part of its net profit. 15% of that net profit is shared among the network's verified shelters.

Example: a €100 booking. You earn €85. Of the €15 commission Mizuu keeps, ~€2.25 automatically goes to the shelters' Solidarity Fund. We highlight it on your profile as proof of your commitment to animal welfare.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay a monthly fee to start?+

No, if you are a walker, sitter, hotel, daycare, trainer or groomer. You sign up for free and only pay the 15% commission when you receive real bookings. No surprises. Vet clinics do have a monthly subscription (Mizuu Clínica, €49/month + VAT, free until 28/02/2027) but pay no commission on consultations.

How do I get paid what I'm owed?+

The customer pays Mizuu directly when they book. We keep a 15% commission and credit 85% to your wallet as soon as the service is completed, with a 7-day window in case of a complaint. From then on we pay you what you're owed and you'll see your earnings in your dashboard.

How long does it take for funds to appear in my wallet?+

7 days after service completion · that is our dispute window. If the client opens a dispute before then (something goes wrong, animal returned in poor condition, etc.), the funds are held until resolved. If all goes well, the money moves from "pending" to "withdrawable" automatically.

Does verification cost anything?+

No, it’s free. Upload the documents we request based on your type (ID card and, depending on your type, professional certification or regional authorisation; we recommend you have public liability insurance), our human team reviews them within 24-72 hours and grants you the Verified badge. No sign-up fee or annual renewal cost.

I'm a vet clinic and I also offer grooming. How does it work?+

You switch on «I offer grooming» in your dashboard and your listing also appears at /peluquerias with the «Inside a vet clinic» badge. You pay a 15% commission on each grooming booking, just like any independent groomer. Your monthly Mizuu Clínica fee covers /veterinarias and consultations; it does not cover extra services. The same applies to in-house training, hotel and daycare.

Where does the 15% of net profit that goes to shelters come from?+

It is 15% of the net profit Mizuu keeps (commissions and Mizuu Clínica subscriptions). It is a real commitment to the network of verified shelters: the more the platform moves, the more funds go to caring for animals still waiting for adoption. We highlight it on every one of your listings.

Can I leave whenever I want?+

Yes. You can deactivate your profile with one click from your dashboard. There is no lock-in period, no penalty, and no blocked balance. You can withdraw your entire wallet balance down to the last penny.
