How we write the guide
The Mizuu guide aims to help you care for your pet better. Here we explain how each article is created, so you know how much you can trust it.
Who writes it
Articles are written by the Mizuu editorial team. Each article states who wrote it and, if reviewed by a professional, their name, profession, and the date.
Where the information comes from
We rely on official sources (legislation, public bodies) and recognised veterinary and scientific organisations. When an article uses specific sources, we link to them at the end.
Professional review
We aim for health articles to be reviewed by a registered veterinary surgeon. We only indicate this when it has actually happened: if an article does not show a reviewer, it means it does not have one yet.
The guide does not replace a vet
The information is general. If your pet is ill or you have doubts, consult your vet. In an emergency, call an out-of-hours vet.
If you spot an error
Email us at [email protected]. We review every report, correct the article if necessary, and update its review date.
