Digital passport

Mizuu digital pet passport

Every pet registered on Mizuu has a digital passport: an online profile with its name, photo, species and breed, whether it is microchipped and, if its family chooses, its vaccination and vet-visit history. It has its own number and a web address like mizuu.pet/pasaporte/RR-…, which is what opens when someone taps a Placa Mizuu tag with their phone or scans its QR code.

Look up a passport

Enter the passport number (starts with RR-) or the Placa Mizuu tag code (starts with MZ-).

What it holds

  • Basic details: name, photo, species, breed, sex, size and whether it is neutered and vaccinated.
  • Microchip: whether it has one (the official record remains in the registry of your Spanish region).
  • Health record: vaccines, parasite treatments, visits and reminders, which you can share with your vet.
  • If it goes missing: the lost-pet alert, the area and a way to contact its family.

Who can see it

Anyone who looks up a passport, by number or by scanning the tag, sees the pet’s public profile. Our privacy policy explains what data is processed and how you control it. Privacy policy

What it is not

  • It does not replace the EU pet passport, the official document for travelling with dogs, cats and ferrets within the European Union, issued by an authorised vet.
  • It does not replace the official vaccination card or the microchip registration in your region’s identification registry, which is mandatory in Spain.
